Wandering Monk Mala, Mystic Brown Agate and Quartz with Terracotta Diffuser Guru Bead

Earth colors, all of them. Amber and smoke and the pale gold of a warm cup of tea.

One hundred eight faceted beads of mystic brown agate and clear quartz, knotted one by one, catch the light in small flashes as the strand turns. The palette runs warm and low, the kind of browns you find in riverbeds and old wood.

At the base, a terracotta mandala guru bead, hand pressed with a flowering pattern. Unglazed clay holds scent, so a drop of your favorite oil will stay with the piece and travel with you through the day.

Below it hangs a standing Buddha amulet in relief, set in a slim gold tone bezel, worn soft the way good things become.

Forty inches, which is long enough to double, or to simply wear as it falls.

How to use the diffuser bead

Place a single drop of essential oil on the unglazed terracotta and let it absorb. The scent softens over a few days. Refresh whenever you like.

A note on the stones

Agate is long associated with grounding and steadiness, a stone often reached for when things feel unsettled.

Quartz is said to amplify and clarify intention, a quiet companion to whatever you bring to your practice.
