A strand of freshwater pearls with a small piece of sky resting at the center.
The pearls are semi round and softly irregular, the way pearls look when they grew naturally. At 16.5 inches they sit close and high on the neck and the gold filled clasp closes at the back.
The pendant is blue lace agate, banded in pale blue and white like bands of clouds, with a faceted blue topaz set in a gold filled bezel. Against pearl it reads almost lavender. This peaceful and calming color combination is also a soft neutral, designed to go with everything!

About the stones
Blue lace agate has long been kept as a stone of calm and of gentle speech, the one to reach for when you want to be heard softly. Blue topaz is a birthstone for December.
Pearls and pale blue together are the oldest something blue there is, which makes this an easy thing to hand to a bride, or to keep for yourself and wear on an ordinary Tuesday.
No two pieces of blue lace agate band the same way, so this pendant is the only one of its kind.
