Larimar comes from a single mountainside in the Dominican Republic and nowhere else on earth. The man who brought it to the world named it for his daughter Larissa and for the sea.
A round larimar pendant hangs from a strand of faceted aquamarine and beryl in every color the family makes: aquamarine blue, morganite pink, golden beryl, soft green. At the center of the pendant sits a bezel set blue topaz that catches the light and makes a beautiful focal point. Everything holding it together is yellow gold filled, so the gold stays rich and does not wear thin.
Sixteen inches sits high on the collarbone, close enough that the pendant rests in the hollow of the throat.

Caring for it
Larimar is softer than the beryl around it, so keep it away from perfume, lotion, and the shower. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth and store it in the pouch it arrives in.
