Emberlight Mala Necklace, Faceted Labradorite with Gold Plated Pave Guru Bead

Labradorite keeps its secrets until the light finds it.

One hundred sixty six faceted rondelles, warm as riverbed stone, turn quietly in the hand until an angle catches and the whole strand wakes up in flashes of blue and gold and green. Look once and it is smoke and amber. Turn it and it is something else entirely.

Each bead is knotted by hand, one at a time, so the strand falls with weight and moves the way you want a long necklace to move. A pave guru bead in yellow gold plate sits at the front, bright against all the colors of the rainbow.

A note on the stones

Labradorite is long associated with transformation and protection, a stone often carried through seasons of change. It is sometimes called the stone of the seeker, said to steady the mind while the light shifts.
